Jobe (pronounced "Joe Bee") is a very handsome and charming 4.5 year old German Shepherd. His black and tan coat is perfect- well groomed and soft. He’s a great family dog – loves kids and plays very well with dogs of all sizes. He walks well on the leash and sits or lays down when he's told to. He'll give you kisses, and his paw, and he even accepted a kiss on the nose from our volunteer. He’s crate trained and housebroken. Jobe needs to be in a home where someone is around most of the time but he can be crated while you run your errands. A canine playmate would be an extra plus! He’s afraid of gunshots and fireworks and loud percussive type noises but could care less about the lawn mower or a train blasting its whistle nearby. Although he doesn't look it, he weighs in at a solid 97 pounds and needs to lose a few pounds to be at his ideal weight. He'd love to have you as his new walking partner!
